We are pleased to present our first one-person exhibition of paintings by artist, Roll Hardy. A recent graduate of the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Roll has proved himself a Northwest regionalist who paints what he sees in the surrounding urban scape. Working both large and small scale this series entitled, Temporary Autonomous Zones responds to abandoned places detached from main stream society. For Hardy these industrial landscapes and direlect sites become mysterious archeological finds, partly historic and partly removed from time and space. Already an adept painter this artist is worth following as he explores and develops his own personal realm.
