Also in November, the gallery is excited to feature Drinking the Reflection, an exhibition of guest artists curated by Elizabeth Malaska. This exhibition is comprised of paintings and sculptures, with a particular interest in the human form. According to Malaska, “…in curating this show I have realized that all of these artists push/pull/stretch/abuse/elevate the figure in their work. This highly plastic take on the painted body/environment is a binding force in this group, and relates very directly to how I’m thinking about and working with the bodies in my work—both in concept and execution.”
